July is Marazion in Bloom month. Much of the town is planted out all year but the Royal Horticultural Society judge will visit sometime in July so an extra special effort is made.

Festival of Sport Cornwall will take place in Marazion from 14 to 16 September 2012. Events include: triathlon (middle, Olympic & sprint distance), beach run (10k & 5k), sportives (140k, 100k & 40k), enduro 6 & 4 Hr and open water swim (3k & 1.5k) as well as some Festival Fun and Beach Sports.
