Essential information for visitors

If you’re staying in Marazion or just visiting for the day, we’ve put together some useful information to help you.

Public toilets

The map below shows the public toilets in Marazion, open daily in the summer months and at weekends in the winter.

Banks and cash machines

There are no banks in Marazion today, Barclays was the last to close and is now the town museum.

However, a Post Office counter service is available from Cobble Corner, along with a free cash machine during opening hours. When Cobble Corner is closed, the nearest cashpoints can be found at Morrisons in Long Rock as well as Sainsbury’s and Tesco near Penzance.

Dogs in Marazion

Dogs are, of course, welcome in Marazion. We ask that all owners (visitors and residents) act responsibly and clear up any mess they leave behind. A dog ban operates on the beach between 10am and 6pm every day from July 1 to August 31.

There are no facilities for dogs on St Michael’s Mount island and, other than assistance dogs, dogs are not allowed to enter the island at any time.
