|Matters arising||Open High Street Fund was discussed at the Town Council meeting, but they didn’t feel there was anything that would benefit the town.
Folly Field play area is now open following a risk assessment, however the council felt it was not practical to clean. Information for users displayed on gates.
Gwallon Lane play area remains closed for refurbishment due to commence 13 August
The Square toilets are now open, cleaned by CrystalClear. John Nicholas to open them each day. Open until end Aug/beginning Sept
PE asked about bins for the Folly Field. DL reported that a big bin is coming and that following a discussion with Harvey Thomas the bins on the slipway car park will be returned. Tudor Café have been asked if they would be willing to sponsor a bin!

|Marazion Chamber of Commerce||PE reported that he had sent an email to Marazion eateries regarding the government offer of ‘50% eat out to help out’ but none replied. MK reported that according to Gov.uk website many of our businesses have taken it up. It was generally felt that all are doing their best and ticking along well.
Summerhouse Gallery has had issues with visitors not wearing masks and so are closing again.
Noted that many visitors and locals are wearing masks as they go around the streets as well as in shops.
Kat reported that medical exemption forms can be downloaded from the gov.uk website. GP surgeries have been told not to provide certificates
|MzCSG||MK reported that there has been no increase in calls, the same 3 people.
Joan’s husband is in respite for 2 weeks.
|Marazion School||JR reported via DL that all children are scheduled to return to school in September. Food parcels will not be required in September and the Autumn Term as families are now returning to work.
MK reported that Morrisons may have more donated food at the end of the week. MK to contact JR. Mz Surgery may be aware of people requiring food parcels.
|Marazion Surgery||Kat said there was nothing to report other than they are awaiting more information regarding the flu vaccine. It will probably be at weekends making sure the 2m social distancing is maintained. Covid group to promote through the website.|
|Marazion Churches||JG reported that all is going well but that masks now have to be worn. The August copy of The View is going out this week with the services for August.
PB reported that Marazion Chapel is planning to reopen from 9 August
DL to talk with NM and PB regarding VJ day
|AOB||Sheila Giles is discussing giving up her carers as she is not happy to give them her financial details||
|DL suggested that as there was less to update, and things were in place and running well then forum meetings should be fortnightly.
If there was something urgent a meeting could soon be called. All agreed.
