Dogs in Marazion

Dogs are, of course, welcome in Marazion. We ask that all owners (visitors and residents) act responsibly and clear up any mess they leave behind. A day time dog ban operates on the beach to the west of the causeway to St Michaels Mount between 10am and 6pm every day from July 1 to August 31. Dogs are welcome on the beaches to the east of the causeway all year round.

There are no facilities for dogs on St Michael’s Mount island and, other than assistance dogs, they are not allowed to enter the island. However, between 1 October and 31 March, dogs are welcome in the harbour and village of St Michael’s Mount, this does not include the castle, summit, castle grounds, castle paths, Steward's House or garden. (See St Michaels Mount Website for exact dog details)
