Marazion in Bloom – a floral spectacle

Marazion in Bloom is a vibrant community event held every summer, where residents showcase their beautiful floral displays outside their homes and businesses. The competition, which is sponsored by Marazion Chamber of Commerce is fierce, with awards and certificates given in the following categories: Best presented front garden, Hanging basket, Tubs and troughs, Use of small spaces, Public spaces, Commercial premises, Allotments, Best all year round display, a local neighbourhood award and a Judges special award.

There’s no need to submit an application to enter the competition, judging for Marazion in Bloom will take place during the summer months, and the results will be announced in Autumn when winners will be contacted and invited to a buffet and award ceremony at the Cutty Sark.

A big thank you to all our residents whose floral displays not only beautifies the town for the benefit of local people and visitors, but we hope this little competition also encourages residents and business owners to get even more creative with their gardening and floral arrangements.
