The Marazion Chamber of Commerce organised a 'Platinum Jubilee Best Decorated Domestic Private House - and a Best Decorated Commercial Premises competition.

The winning domestic premises by Kinsley and Sylvia Caddy (pictured above) won a £70 voucher for a slap up meal at the Kings Arms, and the winning commercial premises (pictured below) won a £70 voucher for a meal at the Godolphin kindly donated by Taskin

Tue, Jane and Jan beat off stiff competition to take the prize with an imaginative display including cucumber sandwiches and Victoria sandwich cake, which along with assorted flags, coronation mugs and other bits and bobs captured the quintessentially British spirt of the occasion.

The Chamber also sponsored some quality musicians to ‘busk’ on Jubilee Friday outside the Kings Arms in Marazion. It was great to reintroduce live music to Marazion to celebrate this Royal occasion
